NIH PRACTITIONERS

Meet Lany.

Lany is a clinically trained naturopath holding a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Naturopathy) and is a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS).  She is currently studying her Masters in Public Health majoring in Health Economics. Lany’s ambition in both education and practice is to see naturopathic treatments accessible via subsidised Medicare assistance.

Previously working in advertising strategy, Lany was moved to pursue natural medicine after receiving treatment for PMDD.

It was not only the results but the intention and values behind the naturopathic principles that attracted her to the industry.  These include:

  •  Treating the individual

  • Prevention is better than cure

  • Treating the cause, rather than masking the symptom.

Lany is a client-focused practitioner who is fundamentally in Naturopathy to help others. She is a firm-believer in an integrative approach to health that works alongside conventional medicine and combines evidence-based practice with traditional knowledge to achieve the best results for the patient.

She has spent several years working in thyroid and gut-focussed clinics treating a variety of health concerns. Her areas of expertise include autoimmune, thyroid, hormones and digestion.
